Process of Making Handmade Cold Pressed Soap

This is how the creator of these soaps makes these beauties:  "The term cold process means that no external heat is used during the soap-making process. I melt my solid oils, add the liquid oils, then combine with the water/lye mix, fragrance, and pour into the molds. The soap is removed from the mold after twenty-four hours, cut, and placed on a curing rack for approximately four weeks. It can take up forty-eight hours for the saponification to become complete. The result is a nice hard bar with lots of glycerin"

My Experience with Sweet Sin

Sweet Sin has coca powder and cocoa butter so you can imagine how heavenly this thing smells. The soap is shaped like a chocolate icing taken off of a cake! Look at that bar - doesn't it simply look divine!

Sweet Sin lathers well but not as much as normal soaps do because it does not contain the synthetic lathering ingredients. It feels luxurious and really engulfs you in a world of chocolate. For chocolate lovers this is a simple delight to be used every single day!

The only con with this soap is that if you let it sit under a running shower it won't last you long so make sure you keep it away from running water and also keep it safe in a soap dish which allows water to drain through.

The cocoa butter and all the good oils used in this soap make sure your skin does not feel dry. It leaves the skin gently moisturized.

This soap is more suited for dry skin because the olive and coconut oil but it cleanses well and can be used safely by oily skinned beauties as well (I would not advise using this if you have oily skin and active acne as the oils may cause an aggravation of acne)

Priced at between Rs 120 - Rs 180 per bar (depending on the soap variant you chose) these are expensive and will not last too long if not taken care off. But handmade luxury always comes at a price!

Overall Verdict

If you love chocolate, if you are looking for a moisturizing soap, if you are looking for something more natural and if you this fits your budget - go buy this today!
